Smart Fingerprint Door Lock

Introduction

The TW-03 Wi-Fi module, featuring the W600 as its main control chip, is utilized for this project; fingerprint recognition is handled by the FPC1020A sensor, while an MG996R servo motor is employed to actuate the door lock. The W600 runs the RT-Thread operating system and connects to the OneNET platform for data exchange.

W600 Overview

The W600 is an embedded Wi-Fi chip independently developed and designed by Beijing LianShengDe. This module series supports standard 802.11 b/g/n protocols and features a built-in, complete TCP/IP protocol stack. The W600 SoC integrates a Cortex-M3 core, embedded Flash memory, an RF transceiver front-end, a CMOS Power Amplifier (PA), and a baseband processor/Media Access Controller (MAC). It supports various interfaces—including SDIO, SPI, UART, GPIO, I²C, PWM, I²S, and 7816—and accommodates multiple encryption and decryption protocols, such as PRNG (Pseudo-Random Number Generator), SHA1, MD5, RC4, DES, 3DES, AES, and CRC.
